future life on mars

What Mars would look like if it is transformed into like an earth.
Mars a place that is like a copy of earth which whom scientist are studying to see if in the future there can be life on. In the article "Another Earth" it portrays that there was once water there and maybe even life. The atmosphere is very thin so a lot of the water evaporated. In the article it states the only way for us to make life on mars is to, "we would have to terraform, which means to change the atmoshphere and surface of a planet in order to make it suitable to live on. At the current moment, Mars is similar to how Earth was in it's early stages. In order for human life to succeded to Mars, water would have to be transported to the planet either from Earth or from another body in space. Another thing we would have to do is create a thicker atmosphere." To the looks of the authors findings we still need a few years until we even try or think about living on Mars. Mars Can be a second home for humans in the near future.

The help of Satellites

Satellites helps earth and everyone on it to communicate to others around the world. According to the article "How Satellites work", it states that, "modern communications satellite receives the radio signal and sends it back down to Earth stronger than it was received. This process is called "amplification" of the radio signal. In addition to amplifying the signal, a communications satellite also typically converts the radio from one frequency to another so that the signal getting sent down is not confused with the signal being sent up." Meaning that it helps spread the word around without going around. It is the way we listen to the radio, watch television, get internet and etc. Without satellites we would have no technology today or be very behind in technology upgrade. If we didn't have satellites I believe everyone will be more active and less time sitting down being lazy.

Race to Space

http://www.jfklibrary.org/JFK/JFK-in-History/Space-Program.aspx
In the article about the space program its talks about how in our history we were in a race to space with our communist rival the soviet union. The soviet union was the first to launch a satellite in 1957 which was sputnik and that was when America started worrying and began to fund money for the space program. But in 1961 America was even more shocked because the soviet union was the first to send a soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gargarin to orbit the earth in outer space. JFK knew he had to raise America's confidence again and told to spend $7- $9 billion to the space program. I believe that outer space is a place of never ending exploration so there is never a limit to what you can find in the universe.

Progression in space Exploration

According to the article "Space Exploration Is Key To Saving Humanity", by Stephen Hawking portrays how he believes that humanity would not survive 1,000 years without escaping farther than our planet earth. I agree with Hawking because planet earth won't be here forever so we need to start finding new places to live and can sub stain life.

How Solor and Geometric Storms affect the earth

On Sunday May 12th the largest solar storm was recorded. Solar Storms affect us according to article ,"Study Will Explore How Solar Storms Affect Earth's Atmosphere" by Edwin L. Aguirre to those who are in high altitudes like when flying in planes or walking in outer space because of the auroras which is the high energy particles produced by the storms can harm there health. Geomagnetic storms can causes a surge in a electrical current overloading electric power grids and damaging transmission lines and oil pipe lines. This to me I find very interesting because there are storms that are not even happening on earth and far from us can still affect us and our lives on earth and no one even knows it.

Storms in Outer Space

Outer Space Recent 7 space storms that NASA named were : 1. The Rose over Saturn, The eye of the storm is reportedly 1,250 miles across, with cloud speeds as fast as 330 miles per hour.

These are just one of many killer storms that can be very dangerous for planet earth. I believe these storms are very beautiful but very disastrous.

Outer space a never ending exploration. A place where other life forms can be found which still need to be discovered. It is a place of wonder and can not be completely answerable. Everyone is in the race to explore more of space. It is a big Black space filled with planets, stars, meteors, comets, and many other never ending objects  in this universe which makes life more mysterious and wanting to know what is out there where man has never gone before. Outer space's affects to earth can cause extinction of all human kind because of meteors, asteroids, black holes and many other dangers out there that makes earth always a target for destruction. I am doing this topic for my project because it is what i am most interested on and want to learn more about because there is so much scientist know what happens out their and experience being out in outer space looking out towards earth.
